{"id":1606,"date":"2017-05-17T14:14:47","date_gmt":"2017-05-17T13:14:47","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/the7.io\/corporate\/?p=1"},"modified":"2023-02-16T21:42:29","modified_gmt":"2023-02-16T08:42:29","slug":"knowledgeable-innovators","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/alexlee.co.nz\/en_US\/knowledgeable-innovators\/","title":{"rendered":"Knowledgeable Innovators and Worthy Investors Act (or Kiwi Act) signed"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>US President Donald Trump has signed legislation that will make it easier for New Zealanders to trade or invest in the world&#8217;s biggest economy.<\/p>\n<p>The so-called Knowledgeable Innovators and Worthy Investors Act &#8211; or Kiwi Act &#8211; allows New Zealanders to apply for E-1 and E-2 trade and investment visas. The act grants reciprocal treatment to US nationals.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;The Kiwi Act will increase trade and investment between the United States and New Zealand and will benefit both our countries,&#8221; Prime Minister Jacinda Ardern said in a statement.
